No, not joking. Not sure I can "hook you up" though, dude. In a couple of years maybe.

Most students get the board they are working on (it's the same at ATi). nV couldn't spare many NV3x samples earlier this year because yields were so shitty, so they fobbed some co-op guys off with crappy GF4MX's. Bet they were chuffed.

There will be a lot more (50 or so per ASIC) free boards to be had now they've completed the control run and I suspect pennyless student-types like you and I will be getting a few of them.
