People don't take Arafat seriously, true. But he's still a major thorn in the side of Israel and in the way of progress. I read something somewhere a few days ago(can't remember where) along these lines but it said nothing about any conspiracy with the US government. Sharon & Israel simply don't need it. Israel is one of the most powerful nations on earth and if the Bulldozer want's Arafat out of the West Bank then believe me there's not a damn thing anyone can do about it. Which by the way i do believe will happen within the next couple of years minus any secret conspiracy.

Everytime they bulldoze Arafat's compound I crack up. I don't know, but I find it hilarious. Him, with his millions, sitting there with a towel wiping of the perspiration...

It'll be interesting. He's actually going to appoint a rather liberal goverment this time around but he already has broad support.
