White House Asked Bill Clinton to Urge Sestak to Drop Out of Senate Race

The White House asked former President Bill Clinton to talk to Rep. Joe Sestak about the possibility of obtaining a senior position in the Obama administration if he would drop out of the Democratic primary race against establishment-backed Sen. Arlen Specter, the Obama administration said in a report released Friday morning.

I wonder how the conversation went between Sestak and the admin, before
they came out with the statement.

Just saw this on the news... I paid some attention to Sestak/Specter mainly because South Jersey gets all its broadcast and printed media from Philadelphia, so I saw a lot of campaigning ads and news coverage.
 
Slick Willy would probably of have to of had sanction by someone else to make such a promise to Sestak. I wonder if it was Obama

I also wonder if Clinton was just the fall the guy and it was really Obama who did it. Of course, this is only speculation on my part.
 
um, does anyone here not believe that this kind of crap is practiced by damned near everybody in politics?
 
then damn near everybody in politics needs to be prosecuted.

I wonder if politicians, and non-citizens will ever have to live under the same laws as us regular citizen folks.
 
I'm just glad they all were able to get their story straight.

However, practiced by everybody or not does not make it legal
