A thorough analysis of the Koran reveals that the US will cease to exist in the year 2007, according to research published by Palestinian scholar Ziad Silwadi.

The study, which has caught the attention of millions of Muslims worldwide, is based on in-depth interpretations of various verses in the Koran. It predicts that the US will be hit by a tsunami larger than that which recently struck southeast Asia.

"The tsunami waves are a minor rehearsal in comparison with what awaits the US in 2007," the researcher concluded in his study. "The Holy Koran warns against the Omnipotent Allah's force. A great sin will cause a huge flood in the Atlantic and Pacific oceans."

I wonder from where will the Atlantic and the Pacific get the extra water it takes to flood them. From the Indic Ocean? :rofl4:
 
Funny thing is, them silly bastards over there might even buy into that!

Perhaps those desert folks don’t know anything about the Oceans
and even less about America?

A 100-foot tall tidal wave could whack both coasts
and the resultant damage would be inconsequential to our effort
to ‘bring freedom’ to the backward desert dwellers.

I guess the silly-assed Pali thought portending an asteroid strike
on the US would be beyond his audiences’ ability to grasp…

Umm YEAH I'd say I have something to worry about with a 100 foot tsunami.

The southernmost island below and to the right of the "Y" in NY City is where I live. Should I start packing now?
 
It'll take a lot more than 100' to take out the US.
A 1000' hit Alaska some years back, and people survived. :confused:

Theres a possibility of a 500ft mega - tsunami hitting the East coast of America. A volcanic island off the coast of Majorca has started to split and if it all fell in the ocean then a mega tsunami would destroy the east coast.

Sorry to burst your bubble, but an eruption at Yellowstone would be about the only thing to worry about, outside of a nuclear exchange, to destroy the US. ;)
 
yeah I'm about 75-80 miles from the coast I think, and I'm at 1300' elv.
I can get another 1000' in about 30mins. :D (i'm in the foot hills)
 
You guys are not considering the tsunamis that great sins can make.

I'm 1941m above sea level, and 400km away from the coast. Allah will have it tough for me. :lol:

I read some stuff about that, cat. In fact, the wave was created by a landslide then focused by the steep sides of the bay it occurred in. It was never really 1000 feet tall. There were some guys (father and son if memory serves) fishing in the bay when it happened and they were deposited nearly 1000 feet above the bay. I think one of them sustained minor injuries. Incredible, huh? I think they had to get a new boat (and underwear I shouldn't wonder).
