Does anyone own an Averatec laptop, or have you in the past?
I'm considering replacing my Toshiba Satellite M55 with the Averatec AV1050 for several reasons. I want something smaller, lighter, and with better battery life for classes (my Toshiba does 2.5 hours at best). Also, the Toshiba has more features than I use regularly, and the Averatec seems to have just what I need, and some things I was missing out on (SD card slot, bigger hard drive, quiet running fan).
On paper it seems like a good trade, but I have never owned an Averatec and can't vouch for its quality.
On that note, what are some things I should know about Averatec laptops?
