bandwidth on websites?

the bandwidth on my site seems to have run out, it ran out yesterday, and it's still gone!

what do i do, and how do prevent it from happening again in the future?

it is worth noting, that i dont have any control over my hostythingy, because a person is hosting me on part of their space....

you prevent it by increasing the amount of bandwidth you use [increased cost]. i think it basically means the space that you and the person hosting you are too popular and being hit too much.

Or cut down on bandwith sucking things. Make images smaller, etc. Though, thats kinda the point of your site, right? Pictures and all.

I'd just wait until the end of the month or buy more bandwith (or ask him about getting more).

Since you are being hosted on someone else's space it really depends on if he/she wants to shell out more bucks for more gigs. ris is right... the combination of your two sites likely makes for a bandwidth hungry duo.
