Since we have a thread for trades, we should have one for free-agent signings.
I'm pleased to report the Rangers signed Kevin Millwood. He was the best pitcher available and the contract isn't as bad as Chan Ho Park's was. Did we overpay? Probably, but getting a good pitcher requires that. At least the Rangers can get out of that fifth year if he stinks up the joint. Plus, he's been a No. 1 starter before so he shouldn't have problems with that pressure.
