Just back from seeing Basic with the missus. Not at all what I thought it was gonna be. In fact, I'm not entirely sure how to describe this movie.


Lots of plot twists. Possibly too many. The story leap around, changed direction, twisted, folded upon itself, and basically did it's damnedest to loose you. Not a movie to see if you've any plans to pay attention to your date. And not a movie that really requires the Big Screen either. I'd wait for the video.

A good movie for Hitchcock fans. But I doubt that Travolta or Jackson are gonna have to expand their trophy cabinet for this one.
 
Thanks Prof, I was thinking about that one for this weekend. We like to make a day of going to Border's to get books, then to Starbucks to read a bit, then to the movies... We haven't done it in a while but we're hard pressed to find a movie we want to spend money on. Maybe we'll just skip the last part and go home instead. :)
 
I just got through watching this one on DVD.
It does definitely have the twists, but I like that kinda thing.
I though it was absolutely Great. :thumbup: :thumbup:
