Beautiful Mind

yeah i saw it two weeks ago.

Although, in some scenes the role is over-acted, being insane does not neccesarily means walking like a stupid.

You saw a beautiful mind? You must be very envious... :p

i was pleased that mental illness was portrayed with sensitivity and respect. made up for hollywood's treatment of schizophrenia in me, myself and irene.

I wasn't talking about you, Luis :D. Keep in mind that it's a true story and on the 2nd DVD that comes with it, it has stuff with the real doctor so you can see how he really is, too.

There were many many glaring omissions on the guys life to make him look better ... :eh: I think they did away with his first marriage entirely... and his son whom was just cast aside into foster care.

hmm.. Its an old memory. Im not sure he married the first girl or not. He might have just dumped her and the baby like a bad habit.

also... in the scene where hes playing GO on the Princeton commons, you can see a pair of lions. They wernt added until 1969 after Princeton went co-ed.

i saw the 2nd dvd as well, and i'm sure that he doesn't walk like an asshole.

do you remember the scene where the other guy start to impersonalize him?
