Beeing Enlightened ...

Yesterday I spent a few hours reading many many chapters on the Teachings of the Buddha ... I think it was during my 5th or 6th chapter that my mind was in that place between asleep and awake .. and I heard a curious low buzzing sound .. I thought, for a few minutes, that I was on my way to being enlightened ... then I looked outside my window

There is a hive of bees in the treehouse not 10 feet from the sliding glass door of my bedroom ...

so much for enlightenment

Whenever I hear buzzing in the middle of the night I assume that its the condenser on the fridge.

Personally, I get that enlightened feeling around midnight, after a cold-pack of beer

There was a buzzing in my room last night. Unfortunately, I think it's coming from the hard drive in my TIVO.
