Birds of paradise!

my dad has a few bushes of those in his front yard :D we love 'em 'cause they're easy to maintain and always ready when we need flowers to visit our family's graves :D
 
My mom used to have one, and it didn't really do anything. Then she gave it to some family friends in Morro Bay, and it took right off. I guess they need humidity.
 
I have one in the front room...it's yet to bloom but it's there. Probably needs more light.
