Yesterday I was in a cleaning mood so I dug up the ole can of brasso and cleaned all of my brass trinkets in the house. I didn't realize how tarnished they were till I had cleaned them. They're all shiny again

Brasso supposedly does that.

Actually what I am thinking of is a paint on sealer, after it is shined

and goig off topic, to clean gold rings etc. but windex in a glass, put the ring, chain, whetever on a fork, run in under HOT water until it is damn hot, then put it in the windex.

works like a charm

To clean silverware fill a bucket with sterilizing fluid (the stuff folks use to clean babies feeding bottles etc) stick the silverware in the fluid and leave overnight..........then yer silver stuff will be spangly.
