Bush Outlines Border Security Plan

Oh, one thing I did note in his speech that I really didn't like was...
the statement about "jobs that Americans won't do".
I still think that's BULLSHIT. :alienhuh:
Some Americans out there will do those jobs if they can't find other work.
 
Mexico is part of the Americas. There seems to be plenty to do the work.

The issue is that most natives scoff at the shit wages for menial labor... aka... lazy.
 
I personally don't care if the price of strawberries, and apples goes up. :devious:

These companies will just have to restructure, and pay some decent wages.

I've got uncles, and cousins that have 'money'. They rarely even look at the prices.
If they want um, they'll buy um.
There's plenty out there like um too.
 
Strawberries are one thing. Add in three dollar lettuce & 6 dollar oranges & that 10lb bag of Idaho russets running about 7bucks that will harm the economy. The inflation generated by liveable wages on farms will kill us.
