Question...Why the Supreme court? Why not go to Congress for a redress? Even more simple, why not refuse federal funding, if you find this kind of thing repugnant?

So you think it's all about money?
not all, no. definately plays a part. they could refuse the money because they dont like the ammendment, but the government isnt going to care. they'll just give it to someone else then the schools will have a tough time getting it back. easier to have the lawyers drop off the lawsuits on the way to the bank to deposit the federal money.

So you're saying it's mostly about money...If so...which came first, the Solomon Amendment, or the University's by-laws?

dont know. dont care. you asked why they just dont give up federal funding. you're right, they should do that, but what institution is going to willingly give up federal monies on principal.

If they honor and value their principals they would. If they don't then they're ungrateful whores, who promise you a high-dollar blow-job, and only give you a 30 cent lick.
