Calling all Christians

This is a thread where you can express your relationship with God.
Some of the posts have degenerated to such a low level that I think it's about time the Christians injected some love and goodwill towards our fellow OTC'ers on the message board. So feel free to preach to the masses. This is YOUR opportunity.
So tell us what God means to you....the relationship you have with Him.
Remember OTC'ers, this is your relationship with God thread so no abuse, just warm fuzzies.
 
My relationship with God (I'm far from being a practising christian)........

Hmm....I don't bother him and I prefer it if he keeps his nose outa my business :shrug:

Think that's the best way to 'splain it.....

But what if no such thing exists? I'm not trying to tie anyones panties in a wad or anything, but god means nothing at all to me. :shrug:
 
Let them have this Chcr. Its what they believe is right and what they want to do and its not hurting anyone so let them have it
 
Sorry Staf, My relationship with God is private.
I share bits and pieces of it when it's really relevent, and may help someone,
or shed light on a subject, but I'm not a "preacher".
 
My relationship with God? If I ever do meet him, we gots us some talkin to do. I figure if I make it there a few choice words probably won't get me kicked out, and if I do, well, at least I'll be the same place as most of my friends. :D
 
Cat, that's my very favourite christian. :)

My feeling is that any relationship with a higher deity should remain private.

I'm one of those heathen atheists. I only worship at the alter of Pants.

I have beleifs but discussion of those beliefs are subject to persicution by those of that cant seent to help themselves. I too am not willing to go there in this forum.

I will say that I knew I had a winner when the girl I was dating told me her belief that God is the head of man and man is ther head of woman". We have been together for well over a decade.
 
still trying to figure out if god is a figment of my imagination, or if I am a figment of god's imagination.....
 
Hey, while I'm thinking about it, I know I'm totally out of touch, but when did this Xtian bullshit start? :rolleyes: I mean I know it comes from Xmas, but are we that much a bunch of lazy, useless jackasses that we can't even be bothered to write the word?

Self-righteous atheists (there's an oxymoron for ya) all seem to be using it now. :rolleyes: Some of them have more missionary zeal than their (ex)-tian counterparts.
 
Which is why I get outta hand defending someting I have no faith in. Historically, religion has done more good than harm but so many atheists are rabid anti-religionists more than non-believers. It's kinda interesting using similar arguments as those used against me.
