A 15 year-old American girl has been charged with child pornography offences after posting pictures of herself online.
The unnamed teenager is accused of sending photos of herself "in various states of undress and performing a variety of sexual acts" to people she met in online chat rooms, AP reports. Police found dozens of inappropriate photos when they seized the girl's PC.

hmm...i didnt know i sexually abused mysefl throughout my teen years. should i turn myself in? that would be about 456,782 criminal acts i committed

I abuse myself daily. Usually several times a day. But in this case she is underage and thats what makes it illegal.

i agree that the distribution of her pictures was wrong, and there should be some penalty for it. However, i don't believe that you can truley sexually abuse YOURSELF in the leteral sense. thats just stupid.

It is very much real. There are people who keep hurting themselves over and over emotionally and physically by being addicted to sex to deal with their deep emotional issues. There are support groups for this and, no, I am not talking about self-proclaimed nymphos. Also Why do you think so many tormented souls cut themselves? It is a form of sexual pleasure for many of them. Seeing blood and feeling the pain that goes along with it is a huge sexual pleasure for some of these emotionally disturbed people. Same goes for those who like be seriously beaten in sex, humiliated, have things thrown at etc etc.

They see sex as an outlet for their problems...the momentairy pain and pleasure (some disturbed ones do not even enjoy it anymore ,they just need an escape) overrides their troubling emotional issues. They put themselves in physcal harm by sleeping with strangers and as it stands they can be abused by these perverse strangers not to mention the plethora of STDs and HIV they are in risk of contracting.

Human beings deal with pain and suffering in amazingly diverse ways...

As for this girl: I do not know enough but she maybe extrmely perplexed by sex sans all knowledge of it. Her desire to explore her sexuality (Yes young childern are very sexual people but not in the sense as sexuality is percieved in the mainstream, fuck with it enough and you have problems escalate into this) as a child may have been supressed in very strict ways leading up to this extreme built up fascination with sex.

She very likely loves the attention and doesn't mind doing it at all and exhibiting it all to total complete strangers. The need to feel loved and accepted is a powerful force and a powerful urge, especially at her age.

Safe to say this goes a lot deeper than simply being disturbing. This girl has issues which may or may not be apparent by her current mannerisms but you do not do this simply on your own accord, especially at 15.
