Giants' win NLCS 2-1

SAN FRANCISCO - At long last, Barry Bonds will get his chance.

Kenny Lofton hit an RBI single with two outs in the ninth inning that sent Bonds to his first World Series as the San Francisco Giants beat the St. Louis Cardinals 2-1 Monday night to win the NL championship series.

How about that Gaunt? Sorry bud, yer team lost. :p

I'm pretty sure you're gonna return the favor when the :canada: Toronto :canada: Maple :canada: Leafs lose against the in the Stanley Cup. heh

Interesting-only 2 times have they had to travel, out of state, more than 500 miles during a championship serie and one of those was back "home". LA/Anaheim is 800 miles from SF, that's the technicality. Same state so it doesn't count. They don't like travel apparently.

i only watch baseball the 1st half of the season. the red sox always take their annual plunge after the all star break and i get fed up with all the cry-baby gazillionaires bitchin about stupid stuff and why its not their fault the team is losing.
