I decided to read on, and on down through there is some that makes more since, it seems to me.
(more specifically the references to the Roman empire)

you do definite have to overlook some of the language to see the overall picture.

I don't agree with some of what his views are, but the history part seems mostly
accurate, I think.

We are on the brink of losing our democracy

Good. We started out as a Republic. Then somebody's hero wiped his ass with the Constitution and overnight we became a democracy. Been downhill in these parts (yours too Cat...) ever since.

How many times do I have to say it on here? The longest standing democracy on the planet lasted just over 200 years. We're overdue.
