that's pretty sweet....i can get 3 meg at times too, it usually measures around 1.5m down, 192k up.

Wow... I'm with Comcast too, so I strutted down to bandwidthplace.com and ran a test. It showed 2.6mb, which is about 40% faster than when I first got hooked up.

But banbdwidthplace always shows a little fast, so I went to DSLReports and they showed me at 1.7mb, so I'm guessing nothing changed here at my place.

I know Comcast sells a 3mb connection for about $100/mo. Maybe you got lucky and they mistakenly switched you over but didn't change your billing? That'd be nice.

unplug your modem for 60 seconds & then power it back up. It may be a local thing only.
