Compaq SCSI drives

Mate can get me 2 20GB i think 10k rpm for only 150 quid, has anyone here any experience with these? I've serivced a few proliant machines but none with such small SCSI units, how do they compare to later bigger SCSI drives? and does compaq or another manufacturer make them? cheers!

No experience really, but you should try to find out what they really are. Compaq (read HP) don't make their own drives. HP used to get all theirs from Quantum, but that was a while ago.

We use Proliants and have had very few problems with their SCSI drives, with sizes ranging from 4.3 GB to 72 GB. We have quite a few 9.something GB drives at 10,000 rpm, we seem to have good luck with them.
