i found out, that on my message board, i can access the Admin panel from that, and alter many things from it.
that makes life a great deal easier on me.

however, checking out http://www.batwing.org/forum/index.php will tell you that i have not figured out a way to customise it.

i looked for hexadecimal codes to alter, none were found...
id just love to change the logo... and the new posts/no new posts icons... and the colors...

but i can't.

please help?

Remember that if you create new images for these, and they're different sizes than these originals, it may resize the tables and fubar the alignment of everything. Nothing serious, and easily fixable, just keep the dimensions in mind. :wink2:

As for the colors, there should be a layout or theme or appearance or something in the control panel. Did you initially set up a administrator-type account when you installed the board system? Maybe used one to first create the forums and descriptions? You might have to be logged in as it to make the changes. :headbang:

there is a "theme" thingy in the control panel, and you can alter themes, but when i tried to find some hexadecimal codes to replace colors with, i couldnt find any... it got really confusing.

thanks for telling me which files to edit/replace, tho!

i think the hexadecimal colour code stuff is the internet numbers for colours. photoshop supplies that sort of info when you interorgate a colour and displays its 6 digit number code. there should be websites that display lists of 'web safe' colours.
