I'm watching the Olympics on CBC and they had a story about a curler who says his mom is his #1 fan but she's at home in Newfoundland because she's battling bowel cancer and while she's not in the hospital they all decided it's best if she didn't travel...his dad and his fiance are in Italy with him...and they did a big thing about it and then they showed how at the end of the game after they won he went up to the camera and said hi to his mom...and then Brian (the CBC annoucer guy) addressed her and said he knew she was watching and the whole country has been rooting for her son and now the whole country is also rooting for her...made me cry it did...the olympics aren't suppose to pull at my heart strings like this...
