damn monitor

I'm taking this piece of shit to warranty, the image is so bright that is hurting my eyes, and the bright is set to the lowest value.

Probably i won't be around til i borrow a monitor.

A monitor that's so bright that it's hurting the eyes of a Mexican? You've gotta be shitting me? Don't think i've ever seen a monitor that's to bright. Even my p815 could never be too bright.
What kind of monitor is/was it?

Lots go bright when failing, or dark, good call on getting it replaced, how old was it?

it is/was a Viewsonic E70, almost 2 years old.

The repairing at viewsonic will take between 20-30 days. Fortunately a friend was very nice and gave me a monitor for the time being. So now i'm browsing in this 14" at 800x600, which kinda suck, but is still better than nothing.

Ohh, and Hex, i bet that monitor would hurt your eyes, the black was no longer black, it was kind of light gray.
