Damn, that's cold

I picked up one of those 12v coolers (tiny little 6 pack thing) and a transformer to keep my milk and sodas handy and out of the work's big fridge where anyone can get at it. It sits under my desk and doesn't make a sound. Milk stays cold enough. I unplugged it last week for a long road run and noticed a little ice had formed on one of the screws inside. Damn, I thought, that's working well. Well, for the first time, I stuck a couple of sodas in it yesterday, and just now pulled one out. Fucking hell, that's cold. It's too cold to drink. I'd have never thought this piddly little thing had it in it.

The problem may well be that you're in Montreal & you left the damned lid open.

Yeah, during the winter up there it seems like it would be better to leave the meat and frozen burritos sitting on the back patio than keeping it in the freezer.

It would...but for the coons, skunks and squirrels.
