It was going to be soft on Iraq & now, maybe not. Watch & find out.

BERLIN, Germany: Feb 14 (PNS)- Chief UN Weapons Inspector, Hans Blix is to present a crucial report to the Security Council today about Iraq's compliance with UN resolutions to scrap its weapons of mass destruction.

The United States says discussions have already begun on a new UN resolution on Iraq.

In Berlin, German Chancellor Gerhard Schroeder told Parliament that the UN disarmament resolution did not have any automatic clause to declare war against Iraq. He said UN Inspectors must be given more time to complete their work.

Meanwhile, NATO Ambassadors are to meet in Brussels again today for emergency talks to resolve a bitter dispute within the alliance over the Iraqi crisis.

Earlier, France, Germany and Belgium rejected a compromise formula to begin planning for the military defence of Turkey in the event of war with Iraq.

I caught parts of it (work bites) & he could have replayed his last few meetings in NY. I guess that is the job of inspectors, asking more time so they can continue to work.
