CAIRO, Egypt — An audiotape attributed to Al Qaeda deputy Ayman al-Zawahri (search) and broadcast on Al-Jazeera satellite television Sunday accused the United States of trying to abolish Islam.

"The crusade camp that is led by America ... is targeting Islam and Muslims, even if it claims that it is fighting terrorism. ... This campaign is seeking to abolish Islam as a doctrine and a law," the speaker said.

i dont see that its a war on Islam. i see it as a war on the extremists of that religion. but they are "victims"(although they have been responsible for far too many deaths). but to an extent i do agree since that seems to be who we go after: Muslim extremists

But, but, but. You're only targetting muslim extremists. Not Catholic, or jewish. Just the muslims. Therefore, you must be against muslims and not the extremists. No?

Semi serious. But then, I've dealt with the irish (who tink the same way) and quebecers (who also feel the same). Anyone who listens to anyone else (which covers about 95 percent of the sheep in this flock) thinks that they're hard done by.
