Do you think the Media has a bias? In my personal opinion i think there was a liberal leaning until 9/11 and since then it has evened out. I think ultimately the big media guys care about money overall and therefor want to display whatever is post popular. MSNBC has undergone extreme changes in programming moving from the left to a right leaning imho.

Hm, talking American TV, yes MSNBC is noticably better. CNN is still as liberal as ever. I like more conservative news reporters though. :)

all media by its very nature has bias, it just depends on which sources as to where and how much of a bias there is.

somewhat but remember that everyone has an opinion when they tell a story and that may or may not come out and also its about ratings and such. its supposed to be objective but it is subjective either liberal or conservative depending on what you get your stories from.

The media is biased to whomever is paying the bills...As are we all. Think about it... ;)

No, I think the media is always 100% the facts. No opinion whatsoever, just the facts.

As is the American higher educational system.

Most professors are pinko bastards.
Yes... we talk about discimination, but why the fuck is 97% of professors liberal socialists? Isn't that some form of discimination?

I don't know but I quit school because I was tired of my professors puking their pink vomit agendas upon me day after day.

Too bad too, had a year left to my BA.

Well that will certainly help your career. I know, professors are usually among the most of the left-wing, but an education would definitely be worth tolerating it.

of course they are liberal. when was the last time you heard of a democrat president's kids getting into trouble? :p

Indeed, aren't they angels? :p :p

Personally, I don't care if Bush's daughters are caught under-age drinking. I mean, WHO here has NOT done that? So what if Harry used pot. I mean, its just pot. Yes I know its illegal, but so is speeding. And, it isn't like they are killing people. I don't approve, but then again, a lot of things I've done most people would not approve of. Its kids. And to make a public outcry about it is just silly.

which one of us missed the sarcasm?
Oh I didn't... it was a general rant really. We discussed this over lunch time. I will edit the post... :D I didn't direct it at anyone.

*is MOST bepuzzeled*

Spot, Seems I recall reports of Amy Carter being arrested during a demonstration at college...hmmmm, yep i do. And LL, Thats a very liberal attitude. Were you as fair with the Clinton exploits? After all, hes a guy and guys , well, like to be that way...

At any rate, I voted unbiased because it just continues to cycle along a center line for the most part. Its ALWAYS biased, but it balances out...

The big three (ABC, CBS & NBC) & the Clinton News Network are heavily left wing. FoxNews is rightwinged but headed towards centrist. PMSNBC, & the other news channels are just stoopid. NY Times & Washington Post are two good reads, if read together. One is too far left & the other, too far right. (guess)

It would be nice to see old fashioned journalism make a comeback. Just the facts should be the extent of print news. It's far harder to do that on radio or television.

What the President does is different than what his kids does. His conduct was unbecoming and he should have been fired. What the kids do, well, kids are kids. And I know I wouldn't act any differently if my dad was President. Prolly even kiss the secret service agents if they don't fugger off. :D

I may not approve of what they did, but I won't judge them. Its up to them. And I don't approve of the media trying to hold it against the father or uncle or whatnot.
