Earth tremors in UK...

Can it, LL :p I've never experienced earth tremors, and it was pretty unpleasant.

Leslie - i was at my desk typing away when today's hit. The whole damn house started shaking! Says something about the structual integrity of my house... :D

The ones in the morning yesterday I slept through. I was on the 5th floor of my department at uni when the one in the afternoon hit (~2pm BST). All the fire alarms went off and we had to evacuate the building. Then we got sent home, but I had to finish my work there, dammit. :(

Did you feel the one a few weeks ago, Jon? That was fecking cool. All my shelves were shaking.

And yeah, LL, if you live in England earth quakes are about as rare as chocolate teapots, so shut it.

lol! no, I didn't... then again, that one was a bit further south. i rang my mum earlier today, and she said she didn't feel a thing, which i thought was funny, cos she lives in Sheffield, and that's onluy 40 miles away from here! :confuse3:

Jon

BTW, it's Michelle, isn't it?

nah mate, nothing serious'll happen... yet :D

it's ironic, how i've always wanted to visit Japan, and now that i live with a Japanese girl, we're having earthquakes! :D

Yep.

p.s. Get your own title ideas. :D Actually no, spread the message. Our search for another palindromic username continues.
