Your firewall may be blocking quicktime, trying to access for updates ,when it tries to load the .mov.

Hey thanks Les for the Realplayer Alternative 1.29
due to the desire to see this .mov I found the codec for Quicktime on the same page,
now those two nasty proggies will never darken my HD again!

I have sworn off the bane of realplayer
and quicktime. These codecs play both
files in the oldie version of M$ mediaplayer
that is already on your system.
A swueet solution indeed!

I love QT. So much I bought it. (back in the 4.x days). I also bought RealJukebox when it as good. Realplayer is...never mind. I refuse to install REALONE...now that is a bunch of shit.

Does th eQT alternative allow for savings files & editing?

I'm with Gonz on this one, quicktime is good software, the looks made it a bit slow, but it is quite stable.
