so, my friend's mom is visiting from Ohio and she took me out to dinner last night ... we're talking about her trip and what a great time she's been having, then she tells me about going to Kona last week ... they stayed in a hotel for a couple of days and took in the sun (it's been raining for 40 days and 40 nights here in Hilo) .. anyway, she got back in from the pool, and Dave, my friend, was taking a nap. The tv was on and she really wasn't paying attention to it until a man who looked like a newscaster came on the screen ... he was saying:

"Evacuate the island! The volcano is going to blow!"

Well, she starts phreaking out and tries to wake Dave up, yelling at him that they have to get out of there ... then the announcer comes on ... it's a commercial for Geico Insurance ...

That's GEICO, not to be confused with Gecko. :D

So... did the 15-minute call save him 15 percent on his insurance?
 
hehehe ... don't know if they saved any money ... but I'm sure it stopped her heart for a good 15 minutes :D
