Ever wondered about our flag?

I've been digging for stuff, and getting myself up to date with the proper etiquette concerning the flag. This website has a lot of cool information, and a lot of stuff I did not know.

Time to find a black ribbon for tomorrow :) I have a big flag mounted on my wall.

Why don't you live in America, LL?
I'm studying at University of Waterloo. Not to mention my parents live here at this point, and MIT did not accept me. But I want to move back soon, and I will join the US military, not the Canadian "one". :)

And yes it was a bad subject, but I did not think straight in my zeal to post it here. :)

But if you joined the Canadian "one" wouldn't they have to reaname the army to the Candian "two"?

You thought about what branch you want to join?
Not yet. Marines are very attractive, but I'm not physically that strong and don't have the stamina and constitution. Navy sounds really cool. That is definitely an option, because I like ships and stuff. But then, the Air Force is also kinda nice because of all the toys they have. I really need advice hehe.

Its tempting to join the Canadian one though. I'd love to be a general. But what use is a general if I have defective diesel subs to command and no standing army, not to mention having that jackass Chretien as my commander would lead me to um, you fill in the blanks.

Yeah, I wondered and then did some research.

It has to be folded so the green never touches the orange, and also if it touches the ground it's deconsecrated and has to be burnt!

Salute to those who died on September 11, 2001.

Generally, one would want to join the branch most likely not to snap and break off of the tree. :beardbng:
