Any attack will be met with a swift and a certain response.
We would be required to await civilians geting killed before stopping such actions? No more preemption.

And I will build a stronger military.
Please don't study my 20 year history of cutting & slashing & NOT voting for weapons systems currently in use making our soldiers stronger, better prepared & safer.

We need to lead a global effort against nuclear proliferation, to keep the most dangerous weapons in the world out of the most dangerous hands in the world.
Isn't that preemption?

As president, I will not evade or equivocate, I will immediately implement all the recommendations of that commission.
No matter whether they work. No matter whether they're redundant. No matter if it adds a layer to beuracracy.

And we shouldn't be opening firehouses in Baghdad and shutting them in the United States of America.

Again, I am forced to ask, WTF is he talking about?

Our purpose now is to reclaim our democracy itself.
Ugh, John, remember, Al lost fair & square. Get over it...MOVE ON.

My fellow citizens, elections are about choices. And choices are about values. In the end it's not just policies and programs that matter. The president who sits at that desk must be guided by principle.
This from the Waffle man. If nothing else, all Americans agree that, like them or not, GW Bush has principles & he stands by them.

You don't value families by denying real prescription-drug coverage to seniors so big drug companies can get another windfall profit
Perhaps he's never heard of the Medicare Prescription Drug plan? It cost a whole bunch. Oh wait, he was too busy to vote, again.

You don't value families if you force them to take up a collection to buy body armor for a son or daughter in the service.
Again...huh?

We believe in the value of doing what's right for everyone in the American family.
Better idea, get out of the way & let us do what we know is right for ourselves.

What does it mean when 25 percent of our children in Harlem have asthma because of air pollution?
We are a nation of victims?

the number of families living in poverty has risen by three million in the last four years?
Amazing. Eight years of Willie & not one word on homelessness.

Where is the conscience of our country? I'll tell you where it is. I'll tell you where it is. It's in rural and small-town America; it's in urban neighborhoods and the suburban main streets; it's alive in the people that I've met in every single part of this land. It's bursting in the hearts of Americans who are determined to give our values and our truth back to our country.
Oh, the red states?

First, new incentives to revitalize manufacturing.
Isn't that called Corporate Welfare?

Second, investment in technology and innovation...
Isn't that called Corporate Welfare?

Instead, we will reward companies that create and keep good paying jobs where they belong, in the good old U.S.A.
Isn't that called Corporate Welfare?

Next, we will trade and we will compete in the world.
We're doing what now?

I will roll back the tax cuts for the wealthiest individuals who make over $200,000 a year, so we can invest in health care, education and job creation.
I will punish those who earn a nice living. Can you say Karl Marx?

When I was a prosecutor, I met young kids who were in trouble, abandoned, all of them, by adults.
Well, duh.

I am determined that we stop being a nation content to spend $50,000 a year to send a young person to prison for the rest of their life when we could invest $10,000 a year in Head Start, Early Start, Smart Start, a real start to the lives of our children.
Nice. Waste more money. They've been shown not to do diddly squat but provide free babysitting.

Our health care plan for a stronger America...
We already told Billary NO!!!!! Can't you get the message?

when I am president, we will stop being the only advanced nation in the world which fails to understand that health care is not a privilege for the wealthy and the connected and the elected - it is a right for all Americans.
[edit] Right?? Show me.

And our energy plan for a stronger America, our energy plan will invest in new technologies and alternative fuels and the cars of the future, so that no young American in uniform will ever be held hostage to our dependence on oil from the Middle East.
Alaska. The Gulf of Mexico. Texas, Oklahoma. Kansas, Indiana, Ohio. Environmentalists. Bad combination.

Let's build unity in the American family, not angry division. Let's honor this nation's diversity. And that's why Republicans and Democrats must make this election a contest of big ideas, not small-minded attacks. This is our time to reject the kind of politics calculated to divide race from race, region from region, group from group. And let me say it plainly: In that cause, and in this campaign, we welcome people of faith. America is not us and them.
Look at all the photo's of protesters standing in the streets calling the Preseident a criminal. Saying this is an oilwar. Saying saddam had nothing to do with terrorism. Those aren't Republicans. We, the conservatives, the Republicans didn't divide this country post-911. That was the same people that divided this country in 1969, 1972, 1975. Literally. VIETNAM WAR VETERAN JOHN KERRY'S TESTIMONY BEFORE THE SENATE FOREIGN RELATIONS COMMITTEE, APRIL 22, 1971

Thank you. Goodnight. God bless you and God bless the United States of America.

Invoking religion. Shame on you Mr Kerry.

By the way, John F Kerry is a Vietnam Veteran that won 3 Purple Hearts and a Silver Star.

In case you didn't know.

Kerry:
"When I was racing down the river in my Swift Boat, bullets blazing at me from both banks, ripping old glory to shreds as it streamed through the gunsmoke behind me, I thought this was my last minute on this earth. But lucky for me, my boat was so fast the fools missed me and shot each other. You see, they had lined up directly across from each other. Well, that was the day I became an American hero. More than a hundred enemy dead, only some minor scratches to my crew. And then I woke up! Honey, honey, I just had the most amazing dream!"

President Bush:
"If America shows uncertainty or weakness in this decade, the world will drift toward tragedy. This will not happen on my watch."
