well... considering that its a struggle between modernist moderates and old school religious reactionaries, its the reactionaries that are carrying out the lion share of the naughtiness in the name of shaking off western influence. Its all because of the McDonalds that are already there.

I saw this special once on Iran...quite funny. They had a picture looking down at the slums, and you should have seen all the satellite dishes people over there have hidden in trees.

I'm all for pumping money into Russia. The stronger they are, the more China has to worry about them and not us.

Think about it. An alliance of three of the four largest nations of the world. Iraq just became a speck on the horizon.
