Okay,I know this probably belongs in the "RW" forum,but this just screams Lunatic
An Arkansas school teacher who gave her students a fish-shaped water gun is under fire from a parent who says she disapproves of weapons in her house, reports KPOM-TV in Ft. Smith, Ark.


The teacher at an elementary school in Rogers, Ark., gave her students the squirter following a lesson about animals in the rain forest. School officials say she feels horrible about the entire situation and didn't mean to offend anyone.

The parent who complained, Karen Young, doesn't want fish-shaped toy guns in her house because she accidentally shot an ex-boyfriend one time when the gun she was beating him with went off.

In my state the teacher and the student would have been expelled/fired for our lovely zero tolerance weapons policy.

Zero tolerance, zero intelligence, zero understanding, zero compassion...
 
Is it just me or would it not be technically a water GUN? But rather a squirt toy shaped like a fish?

I would agree that the fish isn't a gun .I wonder if they allow straws or pens ,as they can be used as pea-shooters( paperwad-shooters). :rolleyes:
 
It doesnt matter if you even have a gun here in Georgia. All you have to do is draw a picture of a gun or hold your hand in a gun shape and point at someone to get expelled... even if youre in the first grade.
