The Times published a story on Sunday -- 1-13-2008 -- entitled "Across America, Deadly Echoes of Foreign Battles" that suggests that veterans are more likely to commit murders etc. since returning from foreign battles. This story is part one of a series which the Times touts as "A series of articles and multimedia about veterans of the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan who have committed killings, or been charged with them, after coming home."
Fox's Rick Leventhal compared the rates of veteran crimes to that of the general population and found that veterans are less likely to commit crimes than what the Times would have the average reader believe.
