Freeing RAM

Just wondering if anyone has any recommendations for programs like Memturbo that free up RAM? Thanks :)
 
Not really. With memory so cheap these days, it's kinda stopped being the problem it was. I know at least one person who's system is mostly running from ramdrives
 
Is it just me, or is having software that frees up ram, while taking it up in the first place, a bit asinine? :tardbang:
 
I used Rambooster a while ago, but i quit using it because i optimized my RAM usage. I now use 88MB or a fresh boot, including my antivirus program, NOD32, which i warmly recommend.
