Anyone ever read him?

Yesterday I was bored as hell and saw a book (link to amazon) on the table, I picked it up and read it all in a few hours. I must admit the book pleased me and gave me some emotions, something extremely rare when I read. I could almost feel like I was livint the the old man's story.
 
checked the link. i'll have to look for that next time i'm in the book store.
 
Yes, he did. I haven't read any book from him except the one I posted.
