Oo, Word will start another 3ns faster. I'm sorry, but I don't think I'm geeky enough to spend that much money on cooling... Sowwy. :D If it is your hobby though... hmm, have fun. :p

Surely the sky is the limit as far as processor size goes with one of these to keep it cool. A 4 GHZ processor at home. Hmmmm. I would have thought you would at least appreciate that... and where there is one others will follow... usually cheaper! :)

i don't really see the point either... i've got some sort of athlon in here... can't remember how fast it goes - somewhere between 1 and 1.5ghz i think... but programs open just like that... i can't really see why i'd personally need any more va va voom.

now if the thing could run quieter, that'd be something else

I remember saying the exact same thing when I had a 486 DX2 @ 66mhz.

Me like BIGGER, FASTER, MEANER, REFRIDGERATED, WARP CORE, VOICE ACTIVATED, TELEPORTING, TREKKING ROUND THE GALAXY...... :retard2:

Whoa girl!!!

Er hm, that's better! Sorry guys just got a little carried away there.... who's that at the back muttering "you should be"? ?(

what they fail to mention is that with chips these days no matter how much you cool em, once you pass a certain threshhold with the overvolting to overclock you run the risk of damaging the cpu permanantly and within months/weeks in alot of cases, i'd be scared if i had a PIV 3.06@ 4.1Ghz with 1.85-2v, prolly die in a month
