Got the Tree Up...

Getting into the Christmas spirit now. I've got some lights up outside too, but I bought 10 more strands this evening to put up tomorrow.

Here's the tree...

That was Jan's idea. I usually get her to do the lights, because she's got this whole system worked out. She wraps the lights around on the inside as we put on the limbs, working from the bottom up. Then she brings a strand of blinking lights around the outside. At the end, she takes some strands of white lights and runs them vertically down the tree and back into the trunk at the bottom. Makes a nice tree...

Everyone's trees look better than mine damnit. That's it, I'm going back to the store this weekend and I'm getting more stuff. I get paid tomorrow, I can afford it. It's my first real tree in many many years, it should be nice.
