So, I just realized I never posted any pics from my trip to Greece...so, I've resized a small portion (15 out of over 500) of the photos I took while there (or had taken if I'm actually in them) and here they are!!

The first two are temples on the Acropolis of Athens (I forgot the names), the third is the parthenon on the Acropolis of Athens, the last two are the temple of Posidon (god of the sea) at Cape Sounion in Athens
 
- Cape Sounion Again
- The Temple of Zeus in Athens
- Me at the Corinth Canal (man made canal)
- The corinth Canal again, substitute boats for me
- Me with a column capital from the temple of Zeus in Olympia (he had a lot of temples it seems)
 
The first two are a bridge connecting the mainland to the "Peloponese" (very large island to the west of the mainland)
Third is the Acropolis of Athens at night
My mom, brother and I high above Athens on our last night
 
Cool pix, Nix! :cool:

It must have been pretty cool to stand in places where such great historical figures roamed.

That canal looks like a pucker-inducer for a captain. :eek5:



Did you hear about the Greek boy who ran away from home? He didn't like the way he was being reared.

But he came back . . . he couldn't stand leaving his little brothers behind.
