It is often a misleading piece of history regarding the Bird of Alcatraz. The "Birdman" was actualy serving his of which he became the famous birdman in Leavenworth IIRC.chcr said:Welcome, Birdman. How's that escape from Alcatraz working out for you?
But thatnks all for the kind welcome. There is not much of a sotry behind my nic. Some cute gal started calling me Birdman in my senior year of high school and it stuck. That is about ti. No reasoning at all.

also... from what I've read... the birdman of Alcatraz was a serious psychopath.
