CONYERS, Ga. — A huge fire broke out in a chemical warehouse Tuesday morning, setting off multiple explosions and prompting police to evacuate residents threatened by a vast cloud of potentially toxic smoke.

dude...when i saw that i got all atwitter...once a firefighter always a firefighter, i guess...that is one nasty blaze.
 
I hate when that happens. So many good chemicals *poof* up in smoke.
 
I've been watching in on tv.
Did I miss it, or have they not told what they think started it.
I all sounds suspicious to me. :confused:
 
They haven't said, because they haven't been able to get in there.

The spouse of one of our employees works for the parent company, and I'd be amazed if anything hinky was going on. I suspect they'll find an electrcial short or some type of accidental start.
 
It was about 25-30 miles from where we are off to the southeast.

HL, Ah ... Thought that chlorine was just a component, not the whole shooting match.
