How many hits...

I just finished rereading Cosmos for like (dare I say it) the billionth time. Great read. Second only to James Burke's The Day the Universe Changed.
 
I'd forgotten all about that book. I've got it sitting on a dusty shelf somewhere. I don't agree with all of Sagans ideas but he's an amazing writer. Must be about time to pull it out again.

10-15k -Damn. Doing pretty well...
 
I only wish he could remake it now. So much has been discovered since.


But the thing I love the most is the manner in which it presents science. So easy to comprehend. No formulas, no microscopic details. Just a global picture. A long view.
 
Putting science to the lamen is an important task and he did it with brilliant skill.

I'm sure he's scratching at his coffin at some of todays discoveries...
