to tell y'all!

I went to the horse races on Sat night with my mom and between us we came out with $85 more than we had when we went in...I lost $4 on horses, spent $5 on beverages and won $120 on the nickel slots! My mom lost $15 on the slots (she went in with $5 to use on slots but I kept giving her the five back when I cashed out...twice with more than $60 each time) and then she'd lose that too...hehe... and she lost $6 on the horses and bought some drinks too.... Myself I came out $95 more than when I went in there. I took Chris and my mom out for McDonald's last night...said I would if I won big...I figured $20 on dinner was not bad with the winnings...plus my mom paid for the gas to go to the track in the first place :)

that great Nix. such a nice feeling coming home with more than you left with. :D

Luck

I was playing just one line at first and wone $10 thought I was pretty hot stuff...some lady suggested playing more than one line so the next machine I was playing between 5 and 9 at a time...hit a bonus and won big with that...it was a fun "kiss the frog" type game...then the next time I was just going between 5 and 9 again and I slowly worked up to 1300 credits ($65) and then went down to 1200 credits ($60) and cashed out :D

So, I went to the Casino in Niagara Falls last night (Fallsview Casino...I HATE Casino Niagara...I always lose at Casino Niagara) and I came out with $50 more than I went in with. I lost $20 then a friend gave me $10 of his black jack winnings and we played the slots and I cashed out with $80. I tried to give him back his money but he wouldn't take it so I gave it to another friend who had lost hers in a flash...I for some reason didn't think of playing with it myself...she also lost that $10. Anyway, I walked out with $70 and in with $20. Not to bad considering I went there to have fun and EXPECTED to lose $20. I played the penny slots for ALONG time on the last $5 of my original 20..it was fun which is the main thing. I won the money on the nickle slots though :)

Are the falls frozen over this year? do they have an ice bridge?

Firstly, I didn't actually SEE the falls. Secondly...what the hell kind of ice age have YOU lived through if the falls froze over?!

Oh, and even though I won $50 I have $70 more than I expected to have right now since I have budgeted the original $20 to be lost. I was wondering where I was gonna get the money for the ticket for the open bar formal on March 31...looks like I just found it :D

Ive been to Casino Niagara twice (used to live in Buffalo). and won both times, first time was 120 and sec time was 500. so I have nothing bad to say about it.
its been almost 10 years since I went so I don't know what its like now.. :D

They changed it all around. The first time I went was before the change (3 years ago) and the second time was last month...lost both times.

i took $800 out of a $1 machine when we went to the casino last week.
combine that with the $300 in scratch ticket winners and we have a nice little wad of cash for our trip to Vegas next week.

You play DOLLAR machines?! Did you know they have $20 machines?

Oh, and the casino we were at had tickets instead of coins...it still makes the coin noise though and it's not so long waiting to cash out.

i've played $5 and $10 machines before. not often though.

i think all the casinos have changed over to the tickets. saves on payroll. dont need all those change people wandering about.

i've seen as high as $500 machines in Vegas. i'm sure they have even higher amounts in the high roller sections.

The other casino in Niagara only has tickets on some machines...and the one I went to you CAN get coins from some machines if you want...but I've never seen change people walking around...the machines take bills or tokens...no coins...

$500 NOT in the highroller area?! The $20 ones I saw were in the high roller little alcove...at Casino Niagara.

the casinos have a seperate area for the real high rollers. the ones that can afford to lose what a house would cost get their own area someplace else in the building. cant have the big money mingling with the unwashed masses.
