New, which I never do.

I bought the Princess Bride. So far, it's just awesome!!!!! Just like (hopefully even better than) the movie.

I can`t wait to read the extra chapter.

w00t!

It even comes with a map, that marks, perfectly, the location of the wheelbarrow.

(and the R.O.U.S.'s)

Ok, what the hell is this whole Princess Bride thing anyways? I keep seeing it on top of people's list of favourites. Gimme a reason to check it out.

Is there blood and gore?

It's a good, old fashioned story...some mild vioence but lots of good story

Rent the movie, it teaches many valuable life lessons such as "You fell victim to one of the classic blunders! The most famous is never get involved in a land war in Asia, but only slightly less well-known is this: never go in against a Sicilian when death is on the line! "

And never ever kill a spaniards father.

Starya, it's fucking hilarious. Easily one of the silliest things I've ever read/watched. Get the movie, read the book, they're both fucking awesome.

buy more books. then read them.
I acquire and read lots of books. I just don`t buy em new very often. And try and not buy them used. We both have a one every day or so habit. We can`t afford to buy new to support it :lloyd:

Luckily I have a bookish family into handing down, and friends into swapping.

exactly what she said. You will LOVE either of them. The movie will be fantabulous to sit and watch with your son.

I'm still trying to get rid of all the books in my house. I'm not gonna read the crap that's there. Looks like the hospital libraries are gonna be getting a nice donation.

There's also a store near me that sells and buys used books, might just check it out.

Buy/Sell used bookstore, hospital, hospices, jail, women's shelter, men's shelter, elementary school, secondary school, all manner of other charities will come pick em up to sell, box outside labelled 'free to good home', yard sale, flea market, ebay, newspaper, buy/trade/sell magazine, friends, neighbours, coworkers.

There are tons of easy yet helpful to others ways to get rid of books.

EBAY!!!!!!

Starya, you MUST see the movie and read the book, MUST, MUST, MUST!

I made $100 the other day by off-loading all my 'I-enjoyed-those-but-I'm-never-gonna-read-'em-again' books. Presume they're Paul's old books fantasy books? You should give 'em a shot, you might like 'em.

I'm not much into sci-fi and fantasy books. I'm keeping horror, drama, things like that. Plus, there are over 200 books taking up space that I need to build a workshop, so they need to be off-loaded somewhere.

Wasn't Bish supposed to come collect all those?

Was suppose to, but it never happened. Now with the BF moving in soon, I need to get rid of them to make room for other things. Bish is also busy with Luna and job searches too.
