IEEE Computer Society

IEEE sets all the standards you know and love, like 802.anything.

I'm not an electrical engineer so I'm not a member.

I used to be a member, I let it lapse. Their online learning is ok if you can find a topic that you're not familiar with yet. Honestly, I didn't use the membership when I had it and didn't see the benefits of resubscribing. It's not that expensive, maybe your employer will foot the bill?

I think there's a trial on their website that you can sign up for, see if it's worth it.

I am, I use it to search and read their publications, particulary those related to digital signal processing, compression and audio.

IEEE is a must if you are doing research in computer sciences.

IPv4 supports 4.3×109 (4.3 billion) addresses, which is inadequate to give one (or more if they possess more than one device) to every living person.
