if it wasn't for the christmas spirit

i would've gone nuts on my sister!! i asked her to fill the christmas tree stand with water ... and after four trips with the measuring cup, she mentioned that the stand still wasn't full. when i went to check out what was wrong ... hello!! somehow she managed to not pour a drop into the tree stand, instead she watered the carpet - 8 cups of water poured directly onto the carpet. she soaked up 5-or-so towels and spent quite a while blowdrying the carpet. at about 11, we gave up and just left the fan blowing on the carpet all night. aaaaaah. i must've been in a good mood last night, 'cause all i could do was laugh at her.

you probably ought to get up under the padding or it might do something yucky in the long run. Under pads tend to go really foul because they cant properly dry out.
