Southern Discomfort
In New Orleans, city officials were actually going to pay the former security director of Nation of Islam for police “sensitivity training” until someone realized that Louis Farrakhan’s group might not be the best role model for such a thing, according to the New Orleans Times-Picayune.

Police Superintendent Eddie Compass withdrew from a $15,000 contract with Dennis Muhammad, who has provided similar training in other cities, after members of the police department and community objected to the idea.

Maybe it was the fact that Farrakhan once called Judaism a "dirty religion" and has preached racial separatism that made Compass change his mind.

**end**

Thank God someone caught this. Can you imagine? :retard3:

Why don't they call it by it's real name

Sorry, that's no longer allowed. Accuracy is not what matters. Making sure no one important is offended by it is now the top priority. What rock you been under?

I find your sarcastic tone offensive. Please stop denigrating my narrow minded, narrow focus special interest group. :lloyd:

I'll tell your "special interest" group what I tell all "special interest" groups.

Go fucking evolve already. Most of us grew spines long ago.

Then it's working. Good. :D

And it isn't narrow minded these days, it's "intensely focused", right?

Ah, how un-PC of me. I stand chagrined. :D

Focused to the point that nothing else makes it into focus?

NOW you're getting the idea! Welcome to the 21st Century! Your ID card in the Katie Couric Fan Club will be mailed within ten to fourteen months...

How do you expect it to work otherwise?

Y'know, you can do the same thing with a magnifying glass. You refine the focus to a point. Unfortunately, that ususally results in the target of the focus going up in flames.

It should be what matters. Not who is offended but how accurate is it.
