Hell no. I'm heading to Detroit today (short run) and look at what I get to come home to.

... Winter Storm Warning in effect from 4 PM EST this afternoon to 6
PM EST Thursday...

The National Weather Service in northern Indiana has issued a Winter
Storm Warning.

Snow will develop over the area this morning. Accumulations will be
less than 2 inches by noon... but snowfall is expected to increase
this afternoon and tonight. Snow is expected to taper off by Thursday
afternoon with total accumulations from 8 to 14 inches. To make
matters worse... winds will increase this evening causing considerable
drifting and blowing snow.

Stay tuned to NOAA Weather Radio and other local media for further
details or updates.

Conditions can deteriorate rapidly in winter weather situations, slow
down and allow extra time when traveling. Practice your winter
safety rules, keep an extra flashlight, food, and water in your car
in case of emergency.

if it makes you feel any better I have to go to Walmart today.
 
I knocked about 6" of snow off of my car this morning in southern Indiana. As of last night the news was saying we are looking at anywhere from 6-14" between today and tomorrow.
 
Phase one missed us but phase two hits tonight. 6-12...increasing southward.

Southern Indiana may see 24"+ before it's all said & done.
 
There's some on the ground here right now.

Edit: and it's fucking cold (wind chill -10F). It'd need to warm up to be a cold SOB. ;)

Heavy snow 3.0 inch, reported by official NWS obs.


Fort Wayne Airport ASOS reported 3 inches of new snow
between 4am to 5am EST. Total snowfall of 7 inches
reported so far.

I just want the SOB who left the door open to the North Pole to CLOSE the damn thing!

Texas is just not supposed to be this f****** cold at Christmas. I had to scrape the ice off my deck before I could go out this AM.

PLEASE, someone take this chit back!
