Went and saw my first IMAX movies yesterday ,rather pricey but worth the experience IMO.
The first was
Whales {note : in the description on that page it says White ,it should be right whale,don't want all you Ahab wannebees rushing to see it and be disappointed.}Awesome photography and learned some stuff about Whales I hadn't known .When bored they'll float head down,tail out of the water and let the wind push them along .WTF a definate msut see .
The second (it only cost a couple more $$ to add a second movie) was
Fighter Pilot: Operation Red Flag almost Disney in its storyline ,and was surprised to see some CG effects ,but the A10 warthog fireing off some rounds from its nose gun was impressive on a 6 Story screen. With the motion effect we felt with the first movie we almost didn't stay ,fearing we'd be needing to keep our eyes closed to prevent puking,but either we were used to it by the second movie or the filmmaker somehow compensted for the motion all was well.Some really incredible large images of Aircraft ,but some obvious effects
,but it was worth staying for.
